We explained our situation to him and he received a call from another person who had a little boy with him who was lost. It was John. While it only lasted 20 minutes, all sorts of thoughts were going through our minds, we even thought he might have been taken away.

The whole point of this story is to point out that if we had known about child safety tattoos, this incident could have been quickly resolved with a call from the security manager that he had found our grandchild. All we would have to do is write our cell phone number on the tattoo and then apply it to their arm. It is important that you ask your child to show the person they come into contact with their tattoo who will say, “If lost, please call” and the phone number to call. What’s great about these identity tattoos is that they are temporary tattoos that only last for a few days.
